My friend introduced me to Realistic Fitness Sligo in June 2020. I was looking for something that would fit around my busy family and work life and once I started Realistic Fitness, I knew it was for me. The flexibility of the online workouts was 100% for me. I joined the live workouts as often as possible to ensure I was doing exercises correctly. Lisa teaches the lessons just as well online as in person and I am confident in the lifts and moves I am doing.

Before I joined Realistic Fitness Sligo I was feeling stuck in a rut. I have a busy home and work life and there never seemed to be enough time in the day. I used to love exercise and going to the gym, looking and feeling good but fast forward to 4 children later and life gets in the way and that gets put on the back burner.
Then in October 2020 I discovered RF online, I signed up on my birthday and I haven't looked back. I'm getting my mojo back. The workouts are online so no babysitters are needed. You can do them live or recorded, whatever suits you and with Lisa's guidance and instructions you get as much out of recorded sessions as the live ones - hips back, shoulders back, chest forward has become part of my daily routine whether I'm taking milk out of the fridge or lifting weights! I have got stronger, fitter and able to do exercises I struggled with a few months ago and I'm appreciating what my body can do.

Nothing beats the feeling of achievement after doing an early morning session and being ready for the day ahead not feeling sluggish. Now, I wouldn't have said that a year ago! I hated getting up early.
I then started the online fitness programme due to gyms closing as a result of covid. I never thought I would take to online fitness but the support & encouragement from Lisa, David & all the girls is amazing. If I can't make live class the recording is there to do later. Lisa is a great teacher and is on call if we can't do an exercise correctly.

As of creating this website and offer we only have space for 15 more Sligo residents to secure their place, and then the waiting list will be rolled out…

You see, we’re a little bit different from a big corporate gym, a CrossFit box or Bootcamp. We DON’T cram as many people into sessions as possible. We only train people one-to-one, in small groups or group personal training.

This is uncommon in the fitness world in recent years but it works for our clients and for us, as they get better results and personal attention.
