  • I put weight on in Lockdown and feel unfit, unhealthy and disappointed. I let myself slip, will this be too hard for me?

In short, no. We will start you slow but get you results fast. Our team have successfully coached hundreds of local residents to success with their health and fitness, and we can help you too.

  • What if I haven’t exercised in a long time or not at all?

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have experience, we’ll adapt your workouts so they’re tailored to your abilities meaning you can rest easy knowing we’ve got you covered.

  • What results can I expect to get at the end of the challenge?

The Relaunch To Summer Challenge is the perfect amount of time to see drastic results in a short space of time. You’ll notice you’ve toned up in all the right places, with increased confidence levels whilst transforming your health and fitness levels.

  • I have a pre-existing injury, I don’t want to make it worse or have any setbacks.

A lot of people that come to us for the first time have pre-existing injuries but our coaching team is very experienced and endorsed by many local physios for the good work we do. We will work around any injuries you have which will make you stronger for the future without any pain or discomfort.

  • What if I can’t make it into your facility for sessions?

If you’re unable to attend physically, don’t worry we’ve got you covered! Due to the Lockdown we have incorporated online coaching along with our normal training. So you can either train with us, or from the comfort of your own home.

  • Are you covid secure?

Yes - we’ve invested thousands in personal protective equipment. You’ll be adequately spaced apart, a deep clean happens every night and between sessions everything is wiped down to make sure hygiene is to a high level. In fact, the data from November tells us that you have only a 2.8% chance of catching covid in a gym compared to an 11% chance of catching it in a supermarket. (Analysis by BBC Reality Check).

I had been feeling that I wasn’t as strong as I used to be and ideally I wanted to tone up and/or lose a few pounds (although this was not my primary goal). Within a few weeks I found that my muscles felt a little stronger again and more importantly an unexpected benefit was that my blood sugars (I have type 1 Diabetes) seemed to be a bit lower. So last week I had my annual check and not only have my blood sugars come down but my Cholesterol is lower too. I haven’t changed my diet so I can’t put it down to anything other than fit20!

I was at a very low point when I joined fit20, being the heaviest I have ever been. I wanted to regain my confidence; as a shift worker I was stuck in some bad habits such as eating late, making excuses not to exercise and lacking in motivation. I needed that one to one help from fit20 to motivate me and keep me focused. I had previously tried personal training which did achieve temporary results but I found personal training at gyms was often unreliable and the staff changed often so when that ended I struggled to keep motivated and gave up.
